My view of Shine Plus

Hi everyone,

It’s a long ago that I wrote a post here.
But, the time and motivation and idea arrived to me to writing it.

The Shineplus already was a strange screenreader to me during its use. I always used Talkback, and I think the Shineplus is not accessible.
I heard a piano sound when I tap and or move on the screen with my finger(s), and I not found rule(s) in this program while I tried to use it.
So, Shineplus is not understandable.

An inaccessible screen reader? Just wow. 😀 It’s been a long time ago since I had the opportunity to use android, but your problem might be that you don’t have any voices installed for shine plus, so the mentioned screen reader seems to be inaccessible for you.

Don’t know much about Android but if SAPI is the universal TTS engine for Windows, then Google TTS should be the same for Android. Is every piece of software that we can comfortably call a screen reader, not supposed to use it by default already?
I only used TalkBack and even it does support other TTS engines, so it’d be weird that others did not. So this ShinePlus should support Google TTS as well as others.
